PRAYER
Prayer is one of the primary means by which we, as believers, both speak to and hear from God. It is an important part of our Christian experience, both individually and as a corporate body of believers. We at First value prayer as a lifestyle, as foundational in our relationship with Christ.
Scripture contains foundational truths providing a basis for prayer ministry:
The Bible commands us to pray (Ephesians 6:18, Colossians 4:2).
Prayer is powerful and effective (Hebrews 4:16, James 5:16).
God hears and answers prayer (1 John 5:14-15).
Praying for others is in accordance with the mission of Jesus (Isaiah 61: 1-7).
“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” Psalm 145:18

Senior’s Ministry
P.C.C Seniors is community of seniors (65+) we would like to meets on monthly basis usually every Monday’s of the month. Doors open at 11:30am when people start to drift in for drinks (coffee, tea and water!) and fellowship. At noon, a delicious, nutritious lunch is served. Lots of laughter and chatter fill the room as we share a meal together. Most of us love to sing the “golden oldies” of hymns so singing is interspersed throughout our time. After lunch, there is a guest speaker or special activity. We close out our time together at around 1:45pm. Our hope is that everyone who attends meets Jesus and feels His presence in the room throughout our time, leaving with their hearts full of His love, joy and peace and encouraged in their walk with Him.
FOUNDATIONAL VERSE
Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
(Isiah 46:4 NIV)
